A New Type of Can Opener
I’ve started using a “smooth edge” can opener recently and honestly I don’t think I can go back to a traditional one.
This can opener cuts on the side, at the seam between the lid and the side of the can, as opposed to the top on the lid itself. This has a few different advantages, like less of a sharp edge, no “lip” at the top for stuff to get stuck on, and (most importantly in my view) the blade doesn’t get bits of food on it.
